Pro-Lifers Join Forces to End Abortion

40 DAYS FOR LIFE BEGINS THIS WEDNESDAY: PRO-LIFERS JOIN FORCES TO END ABORTION

By Anna DeMeuse, Pro-Life Wisconsin Communications Director

Since our founding in 1992, Pro-Life Wisconsin has been a strong proponent of sidewalk counseling and peaceful, prayerful witness outside of abortion centers. The results speak for themselves:

In Wisconsin alone, 1,254 precious babies (that we know of) have been saved from abortion since August 3, 2010, and 12 abortion centers have closed since 1992!

THIS WEDNESDAY, February 26, 2020, pro-lifers across the state will join forces to pray publicly for an end to abortion in their local communities with 40 Days for Life, and we need you! Your presence matters in the effort to save lives.

40 Days for Life is “an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses.” Because of dedicated pro-lifers, these campaigns have saved 16,742 lives from abortion worldwide, encouraged 196 abortion workers to leave the industry, and caused 106 abortion centers to close. Be a part of a movement to end abortion and save lives!

Join Archbishop Jerome Listecki on Ash Wednesday at noon for a rosary and benediction at the campaign site, 1428 N Farwell Ave, in Milwaukee. Pro-Life Wisconsin State Director Dan Miller remarked, "When priests, pastors, clergy and religious join us on the sidewalks to pray, babies are saved 100% of the time!  So far, Archbishop Listecki holds the records for most babies saved on the day of his visit in the fall of 2016 - six babies were saved that day! Bring your pastor with!”
