GOVERNOR EVERS GRANTS $1.4 MILLION DOLLARS TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD
By Anna DeMeuse, Pro-Life Wisconsin Communications Director
Under the guise of COVID relief dollars, Governor Tony Evers has awarded over $1.4 million to Wisconsin’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
In an effort to aid non-profits whose aim is to provide “critical services to individuals in the areas of health care, housing and shelter, adult education, or other services being provided in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the Evers administration announced the “COVID Pandemic Response Nonprofit Grant Program.”
The $10 million program is funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES Act) and the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF), and according to the grant requirements, funds were to be allotted to non-profits “aimed at providing economic stabilization.”
To date, only $5.4 million of the available $10 million has been distributed, and 25% of that has gone directly to Wisconsin’s many Planned Parenthood locations.

“It’s outrageous that instead of spending federal COVID dollars responsibly to protect life, Governor Evers is prioritizing Planned Parenthood and its mission to kill unborn babies,” remarked Wisconsin State Senator Julian Bradley.
Planned Parenthood continues to be the nation and the state’s largest abortion provider. In 2020, the abortion organization killed over 354,871 babies nationwide according to their annual report. Planned Parenthood and organizations that profit from the killing of innocent children should be defunded and shut down.
SIGN THE PETITION: Tell Governor Tony Evers that abortion is NOT healthcare, and organizations like Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and its local affiliates should be SHUT DOWN, not funded by our federal and state tax dollars.
