VIDA MEDICAL CLINIC AND SUPPORT SERVICES CELEBRATES OPENING OF NEW CAMPUS IN APPLETON

Vida Medical Clinic and Support Services celebrated the grand opening of its new campus at 720 Association Dr., Appleton, WI, on May 20. More than 300 people attended the grand opening, which included building dedication, tours, dinner, and staff meet and greet.
“We are so thankful for our beautiful new building and campus. It truly exudes the quality of care Vida has always provided,” Vida Executive Director Anne Tretinyak J.D. said.
The new campus enables Vida, a non-profit medical clinic and support services center, to serve more men, women, and children in the greater Fox Valley and beyond. The better equipped and larger facility and campus includes easy access to Interstate 41, extensive greenspace, expansive parking space, improved privacy, and ample room for continued growth in the future. The new space doubles the number of exam rooms, ultrasound rooms, mentoring rooms, store size, and storage of material support products, as well as includes medical lab space and a Spanish instruction classroom.
Every year, Vida serves hundreds of women, men, and families from more than 140 communities in Wisconsin. Vida’s free services include pregnancy testing; ultrasound imaging; Pap, pelvic and breast exams; STD testing and treatment for women and men; support services to pregnant women and parents of infants and young children; material support through its onsite store with free diapers, clothes, baby items, and more; and youth and young adult outreach through a sexual education and integrity program. Vida’s programs have continued to expand and serve more people over time, leading to the move and expansion.
An estate gift of a long-time supporter of the organization in 2019 and a successful capital campaign with donations from generous individuals and businesses made the move and renovations possible.
“We feel so blessed that so many businesses and individuals stepped up in such a big way to make the renovation of our new building possible. We are especially thankful to (contractor) Keller and all of the sub-contractors who have been working hard on our behalf,” Tretinyak said.
Vida, which was founded in 1983 and previously known as Mother and Unborn Baby Care and WomanKind Medical Clinic, previously served patients and clients at its location on 526 Wisconsin Ave., Appleton.
