“They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him.”
Thanks to the Apostles and disciples who were there that first Easter morning, we now know what happened. They didn’t understand that Jesus had to die and rise from the dead to conquer sin. They thought Good Friday was the end of the story. What joy they must have felt in knowing that Jesus had truly risen from the dead! As believers in Jesus Christ, we now share in that same joy of the first Easter morning.
