It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of three incredible members of the Pro-Life Wisconsin (PLW) family. Heather Kramer and her sons Benjamin and Simon passed away in a tragic automobile accident last Wednesday. Heather and her husband Roy had 13 children, and had lost their youngest, Rose, in 2020.

Last Thursday, my cell phone rang. I didn’t recognize the number, but not knowing if someone was trying to reach me for work, I picked it up.
“Hello, this is Teresa,” I said.
“Hi!” said a female voice on the other end of the line. She then went on to explain she was with a local Democrat group and asked if I would be voting for Kamala Harris in the upcoming general election.
Many have asked me over the years what’s the “secret sauce” to saving babies at abortion centers. My number one answer is almost always, “showing up.” It is possible to save babies online, over the phone, text messaging, video conference, but in my opinion, nothing surpasses the personal interaction of a one-on-one conversation with an abortion-oriented mom at an abortion center. Of course, we know the mom is serious about the abortion because SHE is there. Conversely, she knows we are serious about saving her baby because WE are there. Our presence speaks VOLUMES.
Here's a real story about a baby saved in January at Planned Parenthood in Milwaukee.
The United States Supreme Court is on the precipice of overturning its most egregious ruling: Roe v. Wade. After 49 years and over sixty million slain, it is far past time Roe be tossed upon the ash heap of history. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe and Casey and sends the abortion issue back to the states, it is critical that we be prepared to protect every preborn child in Wisconsin from the moment of conception. This will require two, and possibly three, state legislative actions.
Early Sunday morning, Pro-Life Wisconsin received news that the office of our ally, Wisconsin Family Action, had been attacked. The perpetrators set fire to the office, threw Molotov cocktails into the space, and wrote graffiti on the exterior which read, “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”
The Senate Committee on Human Services, Children and Families will hold a public hearing on SB 260 & SB 261 this Wednesday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m. in Room 411 South of the State Capitol. Sen. Jacque is the chairman of the committee.
On Tuesday, April 13, a group of four of us took a trip down to Affiliated Medical Services (AMS) on N. Farwell Ave. in Milwaukee. AMS is one of two abortion facilities in Milwaukee. From 2:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. we were on the sidewalk, truly in the trenches. At least 31 women entered the facility while we worked hard to dodge the facility’s escorts and speak truth, life, and encouragement to the (mostly young) women.
Seventy-two-year-old Duane Van Boxtel has been a force for the culture of life since 2006 when he began praying outside of the abortion facility on North Gillett Street in Grand Chute, WI. Since Planned Parenthood closed those doors for good in 2016, Duane has been praying outside of the Planned Parenthood abortion referral center on Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton, WI.
“I’m honored to be chosen as Pro-Life Wisconsin’s Legislator of the Year. It’s an honor I feel compelled to share, however, with my father and mother who faithfully served God and the pro-life community by raising 13 children with absolutely no regrets! They now enjoy a growing list of over 70 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My parent’s pro-life witness to trust in God’s plan for them inspires me to recognize and defend the God-given dignity of every human life from conception to natural death in my capacity as a state legislator in Madison.”
She thought she was at the abortion facility for her appointment, but once she figured out she was at the “wrong place,” she left the pregnancy resource center and headed for the abortion facility. However, when she approached the abortion facility, she saw a multitude of pro-lifers holding the sign that read "look at the ultrasound.” She stopped in her tracks.
