It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of three incredible members of the Pro-Life Wisconsin (PLW) family. Heather Kramer and her sons Benjamin and Simon passed away in a tragic automobile accident last Wednesday. Heather and her husband Roy had 13 children, and had lost their youngest, Rose, in 2020.

Last Thursday, my cell phone rang. I didn’t recognize the number, but not knowing if someone was trying to reach me for work, I picked it up.
“Hello, this is Teresa,” I said.
“Hi!” said a female voice on the other end of the line. She then went on to explain she was with a local Democrat group and asked if I would be voting for Kamala Harris in the upcoming general election.
Many have asked me over the years what’s the “secret sauce” to saving babies at abortion centers. My number one answer is almost always, “showing up.” It is possible to save babies online, over the phone, text messaging, video conference, but in my opinion, nothing surpasses the personal interaction of a one-on-one conversation with an abortion-oriented mom at an abortion center. Of course, we know the mom is serious about the abortion because SHE is there. Conversely, she knows we are serious about saving her baby because WE are there. Our presence speaks VOLUMES.
Here's a real story about a baby saved in January at Planned Parenthood in Milwaukee.
The United States Supreme Court is on the precipice of overturning its most egregious ruling: Roe v. Wade. After 49 years and over sixty million slain, it is far past time Roe be tossed upon the ash heap of history. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe and Casey and sends the abortion issue back to the states, it is critical that we be prepared to protect every preborn child in Wisconsin from the moment of conception. This will require two, and possibly three, state legislative actions.
Early Sunday morning, Pro-Life Wisconsin received news that the office of our ally, Wisconsin Family Action, had been attacked. The perpetrators set fire to the office, threw Molotov cocktails into the space, and wrote graffiti on the exterior which read, “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”
Ask any pro-lifer about The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrance (FACE) Act and you will get myriad responses—from an eye roll, or fear, to downright anger—because the FACE Act made it a federal crime to block access (or entrance) to an abortion facility. It was President Bill Clinton’s response to the highly successful Rescue Movement.
The teenage mom smiled at me waving her ultrasound photo and said, “Dan! My baby is beautiful! We ain’t gonna’ get the abortion! But, Dan, I’m not going to give you your sweatshirt back. I’m going to make a pillow out of it for my baby. I’m going to tell her how you saved her life every time she goes to sleep.”
When I hear politicians or businesses lamenting about labor shortages in Wisconsin from either side of the political spectrum, I always point to the number of babies aborted in Wisconsin since the beginning of Roe. From my perspective, you do not get to complain about labor shortages when you or your party has either supported abortion or did no more than the bare minimum to qualify you as “pro-life” to your constituents.
As Ann, one of the pro-lifers from Green Bay offered pro-life literature to an abortion-bound woman headed into the center, the woman turned and smacked Ann. Immediately, Tallulah, a fellow Green Bay pro-lifer yelled out to the attacker, “Hey! You can’t do that! Stop that!” The abortion-bound woman then turned her attention to Tallulah in the distance and read her shirt which read, “I REGRET MY ABORTION.” It took her a moment to process the words, but when she did, she ran the distance, grabbed Tallulah’s shirt, and tried to swing her to the ground.
These bills protect our right to make our own health decisions, our right to follow our conscience, and our right to freely exchange in commerce. ACT NOW! It is not certain that all five bills will be scheduled for Assembly floor debate and passage. It is imperative that AB 309 be voted on by the full Assembly! Please CALL Assembly leadership ON TUESDAY, JUNE 8th, and urge them to place AB 309 on the calendar for their next floor session.
