7/13/23 – Pro-Life Wisconsin Opposes FDA Approval of Over-the-Counter Hormonal Birth Control

Just as hormonal birth control deceives a woman’s body by disrupting her natural hormonal cycle and filling her with synthetic hormones, the FDA is deceiving women across the United States into thinking this dangerous drug is safe and effective. We are fortunate to live in a time when we know more about the complexities of women's reproductive health than ever before. Hormonal birth control is lazy medicine; it is not healthcare. It does not fix something that’s broken, rather it breaks something that is vital to women’s health and prosperity. Read more here.

It is always and everywhere wrong, regardless of motivation or consequence.” Read more here.

6/24/22 – PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN REJOICES IN SUPREME COURT’S RULING OVERTURNING ROE V. WADE

Today, June 24, 2022, the most egregious ruling handed down by the United States Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade, has been overturned. The majority opinion in Dobbs v. 5/3/22 – Pro-Life Wisconsin Reacts to SCOTUS Draft Opinion Leak in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Clinic

Never before in the history of the United States Supreme Court has a breach of trust and security of this magnitude occurred as with the leak of the Court’s draft opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Clinic. The draft opinion, written by Justice Samuel Alito, outlines an overrule of both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, which would have the effect of returning the abortion decision to the states. This is not the final decision from the United States Supreme Court, but it gives us much to hope for. If the draft opinion does indeed hold, our work only intensifies in the effort to ban abortion without exception in our state statutes and enshrine the right to life in our Wisconsin Constitution. Read more here.

This rebuke of Governor Tony Evers' abuse of power is a win for the people of Wisconsin. Those who love liberty are forever indebted to the Thomas More Society for their tireless work on this case.
